The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, and building long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients. The role focuses on expanding the company's market presence, achieving sales targets, and supporting sustainable business growth through strategic prospecting, client engagement, and effective collaboration with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Opportunity Identification: Assist in identifying and researching potential new business opportunities within the restaurant and hospitality sectors.
- Strategy Support: Support the development and implementation of business development strategies to achieve growth targets and increase revenue.
- Relationship Management: Help build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, architects, and industry partners.
- Collateral Preparation: Prepare presentations, proposals, and marketing materials to showcase Emcon’s capabilities and project successes.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in hospitality construction.
- Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with the project management and engineering teams to understand project requirements and client needs.
- Networking: Participate in client meetings, industry events, and networking activities to represent Emcon and generate leads.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of business development processes and tools.
Must Have
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related clientfacing role, preferably within the construction, real estate, or hospitality industries.
- Strong interest in restaurant development and construction.
Nice to have
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct research and analyze market data.
- Proactive, self-starter with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow.
- Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
